Typical Requirements for Builder to Obtain an Occupancy Certificate
To obtain an Occupancy Certificate in Karnataka, builders generally need to complete and submit the following:
Construction Compliance
- Construction as per approved building plan
- Compliance with FAR, height limits, and setbacks
- No unauthorized deviations from approved plans
- Completion Certificate from architect/engineer
- Structural Stability Certificate
- Fire safety systems and clearance
